About your store's visitors: nothing

Pausify never asks a visitor for anything and never records anything about them. There is no form, no tracker, no analytics script and no cookie.

When you announce a reopening date, the calendar file a visitor downloads is built inside their own browser. It is never sent to us, and we cannot know that it was created.

About your store

We store your store's domain, the access token Shopify issues at installation, and your Pausify settings: whether the pause is on, the display mode, your messages and your scheduled dates. Tokens are stored encrypted.

We also keep a history of your pause periods — start date, end date, and whether the pause was manual or scheduled — so the app can show it back to you.

Who else sees it: no one

Nothing is sent to a third party. There is no analytics provider, no advertising network, no email provider and no data broker involved, because the app does not send email and does not measure your visitors.

Deletion

Uninstalling Pausify deletes your session and your schedule immediately. Shopify then sends a shop-redaction request, and everything else — settings and pause history — is deleted when we receive it.

The three data-protection webhooks Shopify requires are implemented. A customer-data request or erasure request is authenticated and acknowledged; there is simply nothing about a customer to return or erase.
